Professional Development: Alma McNamee Conference Chair

HI-I am Alma McNamee and have been involved with school nursing since 1992. Presently, I am a Team Leader for the School Nurse Corps at ESD 101. We serve 59 school districts in 7 counties and I directly support 28 school nurses.
I received a BSN from Eastern Washington University through the Intercollegiate Center for Nursing Educationand a Masters in the Science of Health Care Administration.
I have been involved with SNOW Board of Directors for 13 years. I live in Elk, Washington with my husband of 25 years. We have raised 4 children and are expecting our 3rd grandchild in March, 2010.
I am also involved as a Commissioner for the Elk Cemetery District and secretary for our local Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 5924.
My motto is: "If it needs fixing-fix it! But you don't have to reinvent the wheel-use the great resources that are already out there!!!
