Legislative: Lynn Nelson

Lynn have been a school nurse for 11 years, working first in a large school district (13,000 students) and most recently as the School Nurse Corps Nurse Administrator at ESD 113, where she manages a program that serves a 5 county region. She has served as an area representative to SNOW Legislative Committee for past 3 years and has been involved in the policy arena as it relates to school health for the past 6 years, in her position as a SNC Nurse Administrator. She has frequently testified in front of the legislature for OSPI, ESD, and/or SNOW and also provide information and education as it relates to school health to a variety of stakeholders, including school nurses, school administrators, ESD staff and leadership, and legislators/legislative staff as a part of her current position Lynn believes it is critical that SNOW represent the views of our membership in the political arena, and has worked hard to ensure that the voices of members are represented to the Legislative Committee and in the legislature.
