Bio

Cheryl Sampson MN, RN, NCSN worked for 25 years as a School Nurse. She was the Lead School Nurse in a suburban school district with approximately 14,000 students.Cheryl was a member of the School Nurse Organization of Washington (SNOW) Board of Directors from 2001 – 2011. She served as Standards Chair, Secretary, Secretary/Treasurer, and President. She is currently the Continuing Education Chair for SNOW and Adjunct Professor for Central Washington University. In this role she offers the opportunity to get a college credit for attendance at the state school nurse conferences in the fall and the spring. She was the SNOW School Nurse of the Year in 2004-2005. She has been a Johnson & Johnson School Fellow since 2014. Immunizations and communicable disease prevention are a passion as well as access to healthcare services and mental health of students and staff. She has been involved in immunization projects on the local, regional, and state levels.
